DER INTERNATIONALE KÖNIGIN SOPHIE CHARLOTTE WETTBEWERB FÜR VIOLINE FINDET VOM 22. BIS 26. SEPTEMBER 2026 IM RAHMEN DES INTERNATIONALEN FESTIVALS DER KÜNSTE RESIDENZSCHLOSS MIROW STATT.
*Aus Gründen der besseren Lesbarkeit wird im Folgenden bei Personenbezeichnungen sowie personenbezogenen Wörtern die männliche Form verwendet. Entsprechende Begriffe gelten gleichermaßen für alle Geschlechter (m/w/d). Die verkürzte Sprachform hat redaktionelle Gründe und beinhaltet keine Wertung.

Reglement
Teilnahmeberechtigt am Wettbewerb sind Kandidaten aller Nationen, die nach dem 1. September 1995 geboren sind.
Die Anmeldung ist per E-Mail bis 01.09.2026 zu richten an:
Dem Anmeldeformular müssen folgende Unterlagen beigefügt werden:
- Eine Kopie der Geburtsurkunde oder einer anderen amtlichen
Urkunde, die Datum und Ort der Geburt nachweist
- Eine Kurzbiographie
- Ein Beleg der Überweisung über die Anmeldegebühr in Höhe

Der Ausrichter des Wettbewerbs hat das Recht, Bewerbungen, welche die Bedingungen nicht einwandfrei erfüllen, zurückzuweisen. Die Benachrichtigung der ausgewählten Teilnehmer erfolgt bis 05.09.2026.
Änderungen des Programms sind nach dem 15.09.2026 nicht mehr zugelassen. Offizielle Pianisten stehen auf Anfrage unentgeltlich zur Verfügung. Die Kandidaten dürfen eigene Pianisten auf ihre Kosten mitbringen.
Die Reihenfolge des Vorspiels der Teilnehmer erfolgt durch Auslosung am 22.09.2026 um 15.00 Uhr. Bei der Auslosung muss jeder Teilnehmer persönlich anwesend sein oder einen bevollmächtigten Vertreter entsenden. Beide Runden des Wettbewerbes sind öffentlich. Die Jury hat das Recht, das Vorspiel der Kandidaten zu unterbrechen oder vorzeitig zu beenden.
Alle Entscheidungen der Jury sind endgültig und weder mündlich noch schriftlich anfechtbar.
Aufgezeichnete Rundfunk- und Fernsehmitschnitte werden nicht honoriert.
Alle Teilnehmer des Internationalen Violinwettbewerbes erhalten ein Zertifikat.
Mit der Unterschrift auf dem Anmeldeformular akzeptiert der Kandidat sämtliche Regeln des Wettbewerbs und verpflichtet sich zur unentgeltlichen Mitwirkung im Galakonzert der Preisträger am 26. September 2026 um 19:00 Uhr.
THE INTERNATIONAL QUEEN SOPHIE CHARLOTTE COMPETITION FOR VIOLIN WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 22nd UNTIL 26th SEPTEMBER 202 AS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ARTS RESIDENZSCHLOSS MIROW.
Competition stages
22nd September - Drawing of lots
23rd September - 1st elimination round of the competition
24th September - 1st elimination round of the competition
25th September - Final of the competition
26th September - Prizes awarded and gala concert
Rules
The competition is open to participants of all nationalities born after 1st September 1995.

- A copy of birth certificate or other official document proving date and
place of birth
- A short biography
- A copy of bank transfer of 75,- € (application fee) to the following

The organizer of the competition has the right to disqualify applications which do not meet the requirements. All candidates will receive notification of successful or unsuccessful application by 5th September 2026.
Program changes are not permitted after the 15th September 2026. Piano accompanists will be placed at the candidates’ disposal free of charge. Candidates may alternatively provide pianists at their own expense.
The performance order of competitors will be determined by lottery on the 22nd September 2026 at 3:00 pm. All candidates must be present at the drawing of lots or send an authorized representative.
Both rounds of the competition are open to the public. The jury is authorized to interrupt the audition or terminate it at an early stage.
All decisions of the jury are final and are neither verbally nor in writing contestable.
Radio or Television recordings will not be paid.
All participants of the International Competition will receive a certificate.
With the signature on the application form the candidate accepts all the rules and regulations of the competition and agrees to play free of charge in the gala prize winner’s concert on the 26th September 2026 at 7:00 pm.

a) Ein klassisches Werk nach freier Wahl (einzelne Sätze des Werkes sind
erlaubt)
b) Eine Caprice oder ein anderes Werk für Violine Solo nach freier Wahl
Total duration not longer than 20 minutes (2 pieces)
a) A classical piece of the candidate’s choice (single movements are permitted)
b) A caprice or another piece for solo violin of the candidate’s choice
Finale / Final
Gesamtdauer maximal 25 Minuten (2 Werke)
a) 1. und 2. Satz eines Violinkonzertes nach freier Wahl
b) Ein Werk nach eigener Wahl
Total duration not longer than 25 minutes (2 pieces)
a) 1st and 2nd movements of a violin concerto of the candidate’s choice
b) A piece of the candidate’s choice
